MAREVA & CO. is the house brand of Casa de Monaco, created as a new expression of the House beyond its original collection of refined accessories. It is a place for considered objects, timeless rituals, and the things that make an ordinary moment feel worth remembering.
A NAME WITH A STANDARD
MEANING
The name MAREVA draws inspiration from the Mareva, the Cuban cigar shape widely known as the “Cuban Standard.” Traditionally associated with the classic corona vitola, it is regarded for its balance, proportion, and enduring place within cigar culture. For us, MAREVA represents that same pursuit of balance, refinement, and a standard worth striving toward.
CORTE FINO carries that philosophy into our first expression. In Spanish, corte means “cut,” while fino speaks to something very fine, refined, and elegant. Together, CORTE FINO evokes the simple act of making a fine, deliberate cut—the first gesture in the cigar ritual.
